Thank you for visiting our web page about the scholarships available in the College of Business & Economics. Thanks to many generous benefactors, we have a variety of scholarships available from incoming freshman to doctoral students.

To be considered for a scholarship for the 2013-14 academic year, you must submit:

  • an application form
  • a one-page resume
  • a one-page, double-spaced essay. Your essay should outline why you are deserving of a scholarship and how it will help you in your educational pursuits. While the scholarship application puts you into consideration for several scholarships, be sure to list on your essay any credentials expressly looked for in some of the scholarships.

If you are selected as a recipient, you will be notified by the end of April. Also, you will be expected to write the benefactor a note of appreciation in the fall semester. Our office will provide you with the necessary information at that time.

I encourage you to review the listing of scholarships and submit your information by Friday, March 1, 2013.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at 304-293-7812, stop by room 423 B&E, or email me at banders@wvu.edu.

Sincerely,

Bonnie Anderson
