Financial Aid

WVU has a comprehensive financial aid program to help students finance their education. Although the cost to attend WVU is relatively low, more than half of the students qualify for financial aid awarded on the basis of need, merit, or a combination of the two. The free application for Federal Student Aid (FASA) must be filed before March 1. For more information contact the Student Financial Aid Office at (304) 293-5242.

The Division of Accounting sponsors a limited number of graduate assistantships and meritorious tuition waivers for students accepted into the MPA program. The primary criteria include student academic merit and accounting program resource availability. All eligible full-time applicants are automatically considered for available Division assistantships and waivers. There is not a separate application process.

The Division of Accounting and College of Business and Economics makes every effort compatible with its resources to assist students accepted into the program. Additional opportunities for financial aid may be available through the Graduate Student Worker Program. University Graduate assistantships may also available.
