Faculty, staff, students, alumni, and colleagues are all invited to make nominations - deadline is March 15.

The College of Business and Economics has developed a procedure to better recognize, reward and encourage continued outstanding performance in the achievement of our mission: "provides [our] constituencies with the skills, tools and values required to win in the global marketplace through teaching, research and service." As the State's land-grant institution, we have a duty to West Virginians to fulfill our mission. The means by which we fulfill this obligation is by working hard to be good stewards of the components of our mission – teaching research and service.

The purpose of the Dean's Awards of Distinction is to recognize and encourage continued efforts of the individuals who excel in these areas. Nominations for these awards will be accepted through March 15 of each year. Departmental award winners are included for consideration. However, nominations are accepted from sources such as students, alumni, colleagues, etc. Nominees will have until April 1 to submit supporting documentation. Awards will be made at an annual ceremony.
