DEAR ALUMNI, FRIENDS, & STUDENTS,
What a month November has been! Two great B&E at 60 speaker series lectures; an outstanding induction of the 2011 West Virginia Business Hall of Fame members, preceded by a reunion of Hall of Famers from years past; a thrilling inaugural induction of the B&E Roll of Distinguished Alumni; a 60th Anniversary Celebration where goodwill overflowed; a packed B&E hospitality tent at the Louisville football game; and on and on and on.
By now, you should have received the second edition of B&E Magazine in your mailboxes. Inside, you'll find even more about the 60th Anniversary of B&E, including a great retrospective of the past 60 years. Read and enjoy!
In this e-news issue, you can gain a better understanding of the scholarship being carried out at the College in Dr. Richard McFarland's A+ journal article; learn more about some of our accomplished alumni, faculty and students; and observe the first steps toward building a global presence starting with the all-important country of China.
Finally, as you read about the great happenings at our beloved B&E, I encourage you to think about helping us — with your time, talent and treasure — to take our College to new heights, and to make it an even more highly respected and accomplished institution. I truly believe that we are at the threshold of something big and I know that, WITH YOUR HELP, we will get there.
In this issue you will find:
