DEAR ALUMNI, FRIENDS, & STUDENTS,
We are very fortunate at the College of Business and Economics to be surrounded every day by reminders that we are making progress in our quest to become "Better. Bigger. Ranked." Achievements by students, publication of research by faculty and outstanding efforts by staff are just a few examples of those reminders.
Another reminder came in January when our online Executive MBA program was ranked #29 in the country by U.S. News. In March, U.S. News ranked our fulltime MBA program #104 in the country. In two short years, we have moved up 20 spots in these rankings and have cracked the top 100 mark in four ranking categories, illustrating the quality of the students coming into our MBA program and their employability.
This month also saw B&E ranked #12 in the Military Times "Best for Vets: Business Schools" list for business schools across the U.S. We believe it is a tremendous honor to provide a conduit through which current members of the military and veterans can cultivate their leadership and business skills, and to be named one of the top schools in the nation for this commitment.
We will continue to put into place components that improve our school such as higher standards in student recruitment, attracting great and credentialed faculty, and job placement by B&E's Center for Career Development. Thank you for your support in these important achievements, with many more to come.
Jose V. Sartarelli, Ph.D.
