Career: Teaching Faculty Position in Marketing Sales and Sales Management

The College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University (WVU) anticipates an opening for a Term Appointment Professor (non-tenure track) in the Marketing Department at the Teaching Instructor or Teaching Assistant Professor level starting in August 2015. We are seeking candidates who have already earned a minimum of a Masters in Business Administration, Marketing or a closely related field plus prior solid professional sales field work.

Teaching duties would include undergraduate courses particularly in the sales and sales management area. Special consideration will be given to those candidates who have significant professional and/or teaching experience in the sales field. The primary areas of responsibility in this position are teaching (80%) and service/administration (20%). The teaching load will be 8 courses over the academic year. Additional teaching may be available during the summer sessions. In addition, the ideal candidate will be willing to take on administrative duties for the professional sales program, such as recruiting, advising, development, etc.
